Westview’s seniors’ ministry meets alternate Thursday afternoons in two groups for Bible study and prayer and jointly for social events, activities and lunches. As part of our yearly education and family support program, we invite speakers from the health and welfare community, pastoral care and various other specialized speakers from areas that impact the lives of seniors. For recreation, we plan tours and outside activities to tour our city and surrounding countryside.
Our senior’s ministry plays an integral part of the overall care and family support WBC offers its seniors and all seniors are encouraged and invited to join.
Small Groups -
WBC’s Westview Seniors will be resuming their Thursday afternoon Small Group fellowship on January 12 at 1:00 pm. One group is hosted by Edith & Blake Gordon who meet at their home at 6819 Dalmeny Gate NW and the second group is hosted by Shirley-Ann and Fritz Perschon who meet in the Fireside Room at the church. These groups meet every second Thursday and all seniors are welcome! The winter study will be the Book of Mark.
