Higher Ground is the mid-week youth program on Wednesday nights. The first Wednesday will be games, worship, talk and small group. The second Wednesday will be games, worship, and small group, the third Wednesday will be a service project in our community, and the fourth Wednesday we have a huge fun youth event. The worship time is when we explore different ways of connecting to God, and the small group and talk time is when we explore how to apply our faith to our life situations. We also believe it is important to live out our faith and show our love through our actions so each month we get outside of the church walls and serve in our community!
We will be starting a new series in September called “Love out Loud” and this series explores and teaches us how to show our Christian love to the world through acts of service and through our interactions with other people.
We also do a lot of extra activities like: youth camps, youth conferences (YC), New Years Event, serve on the ushering and greeting teams, fundraising, banquets, and lots more!. We are also looking into participating in Demo Crew at the Mustard Seed and/or going on the Serve mission trip in July 2012.
