Wednesday night events: 

(once a month we will have an awesome youth event on Wednesday night instead of Higher Ground)

 

March 10 -  7:00pm till 9:00pm its make your own movie night…  So basically you come to the church at 7:00... we split everybody into groups and give them a camcorder and then the group gets together... chooses an idea that they want to do… …create and assign the characters for their movie and go off to tape their movie. There will be a list of a few things that if you have in your movie you will get you extra points. Example: if you put the name Jesus in the movie or an action figure of some sort in the movie and things like that. Then after your group finishes their amazing production we will view it as a big group on the big screen and the judges will grade it and the winner will get an amazing gift that involves candy and movie passes. I’m really looking forward to see you unleash your creative side with amazing ideas and awesome acting skills :) see you then. And if you have a camera that records video... don’t forget to bring it :)  

Sundays at 9:30am

We will discuss books and stories and characters of the bible in more depth to understand why God left that great living book for us here on earth and how we can use it to make our lives better…

We meet on Sundays at 9:30am, right before the main service. We are still going through the lord’s prayer in detail with the church and it will go on till Easter. Join us as we learn more about the way Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew.

Wednesdays 7-9pm

For kids from grade 7 to 12, we have worship and games and a small group time and a message sometimes… so it’s our mid week, applying faith to our life situations, program.  Please make sure your students are not here too early because won’t have anybody to take care of them and that’s against policy so if they can be there for 6:45 and after that would be great, also if you can pick them up right on time as well that would be awesome J thank you

We are doing a 4 week series called ‘how to annoy your family’ and it basically talks about how teens are used to annoying their family with some of the crazy things they do, and sometimes it even becomes expected of them to screw up on a regular basis, but this series talks about how to annoy your family - not screwing up but by doing things that will surprise your family in a very positive way, and it might even annoy them a bit J its going to be awesome.

We are restarting our after school youth hockey drop in this fall… if you love playing floor hockey and you love hanging out with your friends from WBC, this is totally the hour for you. On Tuesdays, at 4:15 pm every week, we are going to have one hour of intense and fun hockey playing led by Darren Grant, the ultimate Westview hockey coach. It will be good times to hang out and have fun and do something that you love doing every week.
