Youth Drop-In, Friday nights @ Westview, 6:30 - 10:30 pm
Living Springs Church and Westview Baptist Church are working in cooperation to launch a weekly youth night. Our purpose for this initiative is to open the doors for young people to develop a healthy sense of community, course in life and connection in a safe, inclusive and fun environment. The drop–in night will be every Friday evening from 6:30 – 10:30 pm. Our goal is to be inclusive and welcome young people of any background to participate, so we can promote positive community for the youth of the NW and help young people in the issues they are facing. We want to open the door for young people to experience the arts and learn how to express themselves through positive outlets. Some of these will include hip–hop clinics, art studio time, sports, group games, electronic gaming, card and table games, fun, food, youth presentations and small group connection times. Admission is free! A concession will be available for snacks. Special events will be made available from time to time that will have a cost associated with them. Our program is open to all youth from grade 7 to grade 12.
