Why is Westview Baptist Church hosting Faith Lab @ Home? It is no surprise to anyone, but this summer is unlike any summer we have experienced before! While Westview is still hosting in-person day camps throughout the summer, we understand that not everyone is available or comfortable to send their kids to an in-person camp. We wanted to have an opportunity for everyone to participate in camp. Faith Lab @ Home is the perfect opportunity for that!
What is Faith Lab @ Home? Faith Lab @ Home is a fun, simple, and flexible day camp experience that you do in your own home! Upon registering, you will receive access to five days of video content, including devotionals, science experiments, and activities such as egg drops and bridge building. We will bring you a box of the supplies you need to complete all activities, and then have fun doing them! This will be an experience that brings your family closer together and closer to God.
Who is Faith Lab @ Home for? Faith Lab @ Home is for anyone! Adults and kids alike will enjoy the music, videos and creative science challenges - stretching their brains to new levels! It is simple enough that kids as young as 5 years old can attempt the challenges, and complex enough that adult engineers can perfect them! Faith Lab @ Home is designed for families to do together.
Where do I do Faith Lab @ Home?Like the name says, Faith Lab @ Home is designed to be done from your home! Made simple with all the supplies brought to you, you can do Faith Lab @ Home from anywhere - your kitchen table, bedroom, backyard, or even camping (as long as you have internet to watch the videos!).
When is Faith Lab @ Home?Westview will be running Faith Lab @ Home synchronously with our onsite Faith Lab day camp from July 13 to 17, 2020! We encourage you to follow along with us this week on our Facebook page, competing in challenges for prizes against other families and our kids at camp. If you’re not available this week, you can do Faith Lab @ Home whenever works for you! Once you have the supplies and registered access to the videos, it is flexible. You can find another week, do one session a week, or save the sessions for some rainy day.
