Prayer Walk on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago

Pilgrmimage is often seen as being impractical or impossible because of our busy age but for those who slow down to prayerfully walk, God draws near to walk with them as he did on the Road to Emmaus. This spring, Dayle and Dawn Medgett will be leading a group of about a dozen pilgrims to prayerfully walk and grow deeper in our realtionship with God, while enjoying the beautiful countryside, meeting other pilgrims, and walking with God 250 kms from Porto, Portual to Santiago, Spain. Our days will begin with worship and prayer, we will walk at our own pace and will reconvene as a group every evening for prayer, worship, teaching and a time to debrief on our day. Our reflective times will place great emphasis on discerning God's presence in the everyday activities of ordinary life. We will seek to see God as an active God, always at work, inviting us to an ever-deeper walk with him so we can bring this home with us.
