At Westview we offer a loving supportive faith community where children can explore and experience the transforming love of God. We believe that children need to develop special relationships within the faith community, know they are valued, and get to know God personally.
We enjoy telling the stories of the Bible and helping children weave them into every aspect of their lives. Our desire is that God's word would come to life in fun and creative ways for children.
Westview's mission statement is: To make fully devoted followers of Jesus: people who are following Jesus, making a difference in the world, growing in Christ likeness, helping others to grow in Christ likeness and ultimately helping others help others to grow in Christ likeness. Westview's desire is to disciple disciple makers. Children's Ministry is committed to aiding and nurturing this process in the lives of children entrusted to our ministry. Our desire is to see firm foundations built into the lives of our kids so that they will journey toward the ultimate goal of following Jesus to be all He created them to be.
The framework for this intentionalized journey for children is laid out in our Children's Spiritual Pathway document found below. This document was written to help promote an understanding of the spiritual growth in children.
In this season of Covid-19 our children's lessons are emailed to families. Also, children can join a Zoom class on the Sunday morning. If you would like to join a Zoom class or have material emailed to you, please contact email@example.com
