Once again this year, Westview is partnering with farmers in Brownfield, AB, to grow food grains for enabling Foodgrains Bank to respond to hunger around the world. Westview partners with the Brownfield grow project by contributing funds to purchase fertilizer. Along with Westview, Lorne Park Baptist Church (Mississauga, ON) has partnered with Brownfield to provide funds for the rental of the fields. Brownfield farmers provide seeds, extensive labour and access to market to produce a crop that is sold, and proceeds are directed to Canadian Foodgrains Bank. This money is matched 4-to-1 by the Canadian government supporting efforts against world hunger.

Westview's Christmas Offering goes toward supporting the CFGB farmers. Contributions can be given in December on Sunday mornings (simply write Christmas Offering on your offering envelope) or through Westview's online giving platforms.
