At Westview, we value dynamic worship of God. We believe that one of our greatest privileges and responsibilities is to come and worship together. Our service is a blended style of traditional and contemporary music in a casual atmosphere.

 

All of us were placed on the earth for a reason.  We can each make a difference in the world as we discover and live out our purpose in life.  And in living out our purpose we discover that we are living life to the full; we are living the life we always wanted. The problem is that everyday life and responsibilities often seems to get in the way.

This winter we are looking at several pathways that help lead us in the right directions.  Join us each Sunday over these next seven weeks as we reflect on how we can live the life we’ve always wanted.

Women's Bible Study - Wednesdays 9am

Women’s Ministries will be hosting a Bible Study every Wednesday morning at 9:00 am in the Fireside Room.  Sasha Green will be leading us through a brand new Beth Moore study, based on the book of James.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center and feel free to invite a friend!   Childcare volunteers are needed for this ministry; please contact the church office (403-239-1114) if you have any questions or if you would be interested in volunteering.

 

 

  

Special Workshop - Signposts to the Life You’ve Always Wanted - February 3-4

One of the challenging parts of life is figuring out God’s purpose for the current chapter of our lives.  On February 3 – 4 Dayle will be leading a workshop that will help you discern this purpose.  This is not a time of trying to squeeze you into a certain ministry mould, but a look at the ways that God has been shaping each of us individually for a unique and ultimate contribution to his kingdom.  Friday 7 – 9 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM  – 3 PM.  The cost of this event is $20.00 (lunch is included).

Parent's Evening Off - February 10

As a small Valentine gift to you we would like to offer you an evening off from parenting. On February 10 we are inviting you to drop off your kids at the church at 6:00pm.  We will feed them dinner, play games, make crafts, watch a movie and just hang out and have a good time.  Your children must be picked up no later than 10:00pm.  The cost for the evening will be $5.00 per child.  We are asking that you register early so we will have enough time to secure adequate care for your children.
